Carrie Wright serves as the Director of Children’s Ministry at First Pres, overseeing newborns through 5th grade. Carrie attended First Pres as a high school student and has been back with her children since 2023.
She has always had a heart for serving children and supporting their growth. Before joining the team at First Pres, she spent years working in Children’s Ministry and in Early Childhood Education, while also homeschooling her own children. She loves creating places where kids feel safe, known, and can discover just how much Jesus loves them.
Carrie is the proud mom of three amazing kids: Jadyn, Jordyn, and Carson. Her family’s journey through foster care and adoption has given her a genuine appreciation for God’s faithfulness and a heart for walking alongside children and parents through every season of life.
When she’s not at church, you’ll usually find Carrie spending time with her family, watching her kids at their activities, and planning the next family adventure.
