Donald Baird was destined for the ministry, the son, grandson and great-grandson of stalwart Presbyterian pastors. He began his ministry in Laguna Beach and moved on to pastor the Trinity Presbyterian Church of Boise, Idaho, the First Presbyterian Church of Salt Lake City, and the Fremont Presbyterian Church of Sacramento. In preparation for this calling, Don received a BS from Lewis and Clark College, an M.Div from McCormick Theological Seminary, an MBA from the University of Utah, and a D.Min from San Francisco Theological Seminary. While studying at the University of Edinburgh he met and married his wife, Morag. They have three children, two of whom are Presbyterian pastors, and nine grandchildren. Don is serving as the Transitional Pastor at First Presbyterian Church until a new pastor is called. Don loves back packing, scuba diving, golfing, biking and exercise.
